Job Description

The SAP PI Developer will work closely with the Product team to understand technical requirements and develop interfaces. This role involves collaboration with business analysts and testing teams to transition developments from testing to production, and it interfaces with SAP and system integrator resources to ensure seamless SAP integration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop functional and technical specifications for integration scenarios.
• Perform development in Enterprise Services Repository and configuration in Integration Builder.
• Support project teams during testing phases and manage production promotion of interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with IT processes for incident and change management.
• Monitor and troubleshoot message processing and throughput for SAP interfaces.
• Promote component reuse strategies across development environments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Strategy & Planning:

  • Design, develop, and configure SAP PI components for required integrations.
  • Collaborate with business and IT leaders to create and validate integration test cases.
  • Ensure adherence to established analysis, design, and development standards.

• Operational Management:

  • Support and maintain PI components and interfaces.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues during integration testing.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Education:

  • BS/BA in Computer Science or 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Experience & Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience in SAP NetWeaver PI design, development, and support.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP modules, PI-ERP integration, and Process Integration protocols.
  • Hands-on expertise in JAVA development, including experience with J2EE, XML, and XSLT.
  • Experience with UDFs, JAVA mapping, and various adapters (ESR, ID, SLD).
  • 1+ year of ABAP development and performance analysis.
  • Experience in projects with a global team and familiarity with e-commerce, intranet, and extranet systems.
  • Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
