Key Responsibilities:

• Database Installation & Configuration: Perform the installation, configuration, and tuning of MySQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
• High Availability Architecture: Design, implement, and manage high availability solutions to ensure database reliability and minimize downtime.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop, test, and implement disaster recovery strategies to safeguard data integrity and availability.
• Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI): Leverage OCI for database services, including provisioning, scaling, and monitoring.
• MySQL HeatWave Management: Manage and optimize MySQL HeatWave environments, ensuring high performance and operational efficiency.
• Change Management: Oversee and execute database configuration changes, software updates, and other modifications while following best practices and company policies.
• Release Management: Plan, coordinate, and manage database releases, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruptions.
• Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Diagnose and resolve complex database issues. Implement best practices for performance tuning and optimization.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of database configurations, processes, and procedures. Provide regular performance reports and issue resolutions.
