Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement SAP MDG solutions based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and data governance principles.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather and analyze master data requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
• Customize the SAP MDG application, including data models, user interfaces, workflows, validations, and business rules, using SAP ABAP programming language and enhancement techniques.
• Develop and maintain data models and structures within SAP MDG, considering complex master data hierarchies, relationships, and dependencies.
• Configure and extend SAP MDG workflows to automate data validation, approvals, and change management processes, leveraging SAP Business Workflow or SAP Workflow Management.
• Integrate SAP MDG with other systems, such as SAP ERP (ECC or S/4HANA), SAP CRM, SAP BW, or external systems, using standard integration technologies (e.g., IDocs, BAPIs, Web services, RFCs).
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of SAP MDG with other SAP modules, such as SAP Finance (FI), Sales and Distribution (SD), or Material Management (MM).
• Conduct thorough unit testing, system integration testing, and support user acceptance testing for SAP MDG solutions, identifying and resolving technical issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Provide technical documentation, including technical designs, configuration guides, and deployment instructions.
• Train and support end-users on SAP MDG functionality and best practices, enabling them to effectively manage and maintain master data.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP MDG releases, features, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements and technology upgrades.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP MDG or SAP ABAP will be a plus.

• In-depth knowledge of SAP MDG architecture, data models, and configuration options, with a focus on material, customer, vendor, or finance master data domains.
• Strong proficiency in SAP ABAP programming language and hands-on experience in developing custom objects, enhancements, and interfaces within SAP MDG.
• Sound understanding of SAP ECC or S/4HANA data structures, master data processes, and integration scenarios.
• Experience with SAP integration technologies, such as IDocs, BAPIs, Web services, or RFCs, for seamless integration with other SAP modules and external systems.
• Familiarity with data migration and conversion techniques, including tools like SAP Data Services, LSMW, or custom ETL processes.
• Knowledge of BRFplus based SAP Business Workflow or SAP Workflow Management for designing and configuring automated data validation, approvals, and change management workflows within SAP MDG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams, stakeholders, and end-users.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results within project timelines.
