Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a Scrum team to understand detailed feature requirements and design, develop, and execute automated/manual test cases for cloud-native enterprise applications.
• Follow an automation-first approach to enhance speed and agility within the Scrum team.
• Assist in designing and implementing automation frameworks for cloud-native environments, including reusable test scripts and libraries.
• Execute and monitor automated tests throughout the development lifecycle.
• Identify, document, and report software defects using appropriate tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers to verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
• Set up and maintain test environments for cloud-native applications.
• Research and adopt new tools to enhance testing efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of test cases, results, and procedures.
• Prepare and present test reports to team members and stakeholders.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Drive initiatives to improve test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Work with cross-functional teams for technical discussions and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Contribute to building a self-sustaining and stronger Scrum team.

Qualifications:

• B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech in Computer Science, ECE, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience as a Test Engineer in product-based companies, preferably working with cloud-native applications.
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, or JavaScript).
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Robot Framework, Appium).
• Knowledge of different testing methodologies.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
