Key Job Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, test, and operate large-scale, high-performance data structures for analytics and reporting.
• Build and optimize data structures using best practices in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, AWS Redshift, and OLAP technologies.
• Model data and metadata for ad hoc and pre-built reporting.
• Develop robust and scalable data integration (ETL) pipelines using SQL, Python, and Spark.
• Continuously enhance reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for customers.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver complete reporting solutions.
• Work closely with Analysts, BI Engineers, and Product Managers to implement algorithms for statistical analysis and machine learning.
• Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions, including annual budget processes.
• Effectively communicate with product, business, technology, and data teams.

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in SQL.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Knowledge of one or more query languages (e.g., SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala).
• Proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, KornShell).
