Job Descriptions

• Essential Capabilities
• Requirements – Support SAP Functional consultant and business to finalise detailed requirements
• Scoping and Estimation – Provide SAP technical inputs into High Level and/or Detailed Level cost/effort estimation
• SAP Development - Develop code for SAP in accordance to defined ABAP/development standards. Peer review of code. Development work allocation/coordination withing development team. Incorporate security setup into code. Work with SAP security and SAP basis as part of the development process.
• Testing – Perform unit testing of code. Support during subsequent testing phases, ie. ST, SIT, UAT, etc. Code optimisation and performance tuning.
• Deployment – Support migration/cutover phases. Handover of code to BaU teams. Technical verification testing and hypercare support.
• Support - Incident resolution and code optimisation. Code impact assessment as part of annul support pack and country legal change implementations
• Additional Capabilities
• Analytical approach to problem investigation, options and recommendations, documentation of findings in a structured and meaningful way.
• Supporting the business and functional consultants in the identification of opportunities to optimise current and to address future business needs
• Identification, creation/building of solutions/tools/methods to dramatically shorten the build/test phase of implementations
• Strong focus on quality and attention to detail
• Strong commitment to quality delivery
• Time management skills are a must, along with the ability to be flexible and creative
• Ability to investigate, analyse and provide design improvement recommendations for consideration
• Ability to provide knowledge transfer to team members to enable on-going support
