Job Description: As a Software Quality Assurance Tech Engineer at Amazon, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You will support test execution using both manual and automated testing techniques, troubleshoot issues with debug settings, and prepare detailed bug reports with necessary logs. Your responsibilities will also include running automated tests, analyzing failures, and effectively communicating findings to stakeholders. Additionally, you will contribute to maintaining a high-quality test environment and proactively recommend improvements to enhance testing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct testing of applications and products using manual and automated tools.
• Install and configure software, utilize debug settings to gather logs and traces for bug reports.
• Execute automated scripts, analyze test failures, and provide support for automation efforts.
• Identify and investigate issues, escalate where necessary, and provide timely status reports.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending enhancements to standard operating procedures (SOPs), tools, and metrics.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, Perl, Python, or similar languages for automation.
• Ability to comprehend technical specifications and analyze log files.
• Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail in QA processes.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
